Hawaii Energy's new website (HawaiiEnergy.com) is an online resource for the Conservation and Efficiency Program to help reduce Hawaii's dependence on foreign oil. It is ratepayer-funded by direct payments via electricity bills and offers cash rebates to residents and businesses to help offset the cost of installing energy efficient equipment. The program's purpose is to help the state achieve its Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative (HCEI) goal of reducing total electric energy use by 4,300,000,000 kWh by 2030. The website was developed with the W|W Content Management System (CMS) with News, Calendar and Form-Builder Plug-Ins .
