Wall-to-Wall Studios Designs Rebranding for Hawaii Community Foundation

November 2, 2025

Building on a 10+ year history of creative partnership with the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF), a mission-driven organization that unites donors, nonprofits, and community partners across the Hawaiian Islands to drive lasting, positive change, Wall-to-Wall Studios (W|W designed an integrated rebranding to help align HCF’s identity with its evolution and expanded impact.

W|W's approach included both quantitative and qualitative research that was supported by a “Brand UnWorkshop” that brought voices from across HCF’s stakeholders directly into the process. These insights shaped an authentic brand platform grounded in HCF’s promise: “Amplify the Power of Community.”

The visual refresh was designed to honor HCF’s heritage while presenting a modern, crisp identity. W|W refined the logo mark and updated typography to bring clarity and cohesion to the brand. To expand the visual identity system,  W|W collaborated with Hawaiian textile artist Dalani Tanahy to develop a textural logo system along with a refreshed color palette — anchoring the visual language in cultural relevance and craftsmanship

The refreshed brand positions HCF to engage its audiences—donors, partners, and the communities it serves—with renewed purpose and authenticity, allowing the Foundation to clearly articulate its expanding role and deepen its influence across Hawai‘i.
