Wall-to-Wall Studios Designs Branding and Website for Bedford Falls Foundation

Wall-to-Wall Studios designed and developed the formative brand identity and digital presence for the Bedford Falls Foundation, a private family foundation dedicated to expanding opportunity in nursing and human services through education, scholarships, and workforce development. Founded by William and Joanne Conway, the Foundation supports high-economic-need students, the faculty who guide them, and the institutions shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. As the Foundation grew in visibility and impact, it needed an identity and web platform that could clearly articulate its mission, serve as a source of truth for prospective grantees, and reflect the humility and generosity of the family behind it.
W|W led the leadership team through the interactive Brand UnWorkshop and a series of immersion exercises to help uncover the Foundation's unique narrative—communicating not just what it supports, but why and how it approaches philanthropic giving. The identity itself draws inspiration from the Foundation's name—influenced by the fictional town in It’s a Wonderful Life—and the famous line, "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings," subtle nods to the compassionate nature of nursing and human services. Key tenets of the collaboration include:
-
W|W created a thoughtful logo mark and design system reflecting an approachable, grounded tone that elevates the Foundation’s mission without feeling pretentious.
-
The website strategy leveraged a user-centric structure so peer organizations, media, and prospective grantees can quickly navigate the Foundation's history, philosophy, and funding priorities.
-
The website was built on Sanity CMS, a modern headless platform with a component-based architecture, giving the Bedford Falls team seamless control to update content and adapt the site as their grantmaking evolves.
