Located within one of the world’s leading research institutions, the School of Art fosters innovation across traditional and new media, encouraging students to explore diverse modes of expression—from painting and sculpture to robotics, performance, and interactive art.

W|W redesigned the School of Art's full suite of recruitment marketing materials—strengthening brand consistency across platforms while infusing the system with renewed energy, clarity, and cohesion.  A supplemental deliverable from W|W included the creation of a comprehensive brand style guide that covered the core visual identity and extended graphic toolkit.

BETTER REFLECT THE EXPERIENCE

Taking inspiration from popular culture, music, and magazines, the redesigned collateral is bold, loud, and expressive, aligned with the type of experience prospective students could expect at the CMU School of Art. With a strong emphasis on experimentation, conceptual thinking, and cultural relevance, the School of Art prepares artists to become influential voices in contemporary art and creative industries. W|W's print design included Pre-College (recruitment brochure and tear sheet), Undergraduate (recruitment brochure and admitted student book), and custom folders to house the materials. 

DIGITAL MARKETING

To complement the printed recruitment materials, W|W created a set of digital marketing templates for the School of Art team to leverage that covered organic social media and included static and video assets.
