BÚHO COCINA Y CANTINA

HOLA MEETS ALOHA

Developing the brand from the ground up, Búho Cocina y Cantina literally reached for the stars. With a modern take on Mexican cuisine, Búho (Spanish for "owl") offers south-of-the-border classics with an inventive twist, using the freshest local ingredients found in Hawaii. The stunning open sky rooftop location in Waikiki offers up an elevated take on familiar flavors: fresh ideas, fresh air and fresh ingredients.

Refined, not refried.

ELEVATING MEXICAN CUISINE

The opening integrated launch included a brand identity system, signage design, restaurant collateral such as menus, gift card design, food packaging and take away bags, invitation and announcements as well as a print advertising campaign. Inspiration meets tradition where Waikiki meets the sky.

CINCO DE BÚHO

The brainstorm began with: "Why should we celebrate Cinco de Mayo only once a year?" Wall-to-Wall Studios created the Cinco de Búho promotion to celebrate on the 5th day of every month. Featuring the best fiesta in town with live music, drink specials and salsa dancing under the stars, the evening is topped off with Búho's now infamous taco eating contest. #cincodebuho
