Wall-to-Wall Studios Designs Integrated Branding for 2026 JFilm Festival

Presented by Film Pittsburgh and running from April 30 to May 10, JFilm Festival is the largest Jewish cultural event in the region. For 33 years, JFilm has showcased Jewish-themed, independent films from around the globe. The annual JFilm Festival presents films that deepen audiences’ understanding of Jewish culture, tolerance, and our common humanity.
For over 15 years, Wall-to-Wall Studios has been creating the integrated branding for each JFilm Festival, including 2026, which included the graphic identity & messaging, poster & marketing collateral, animated bumpers, social media graphics, program template, and more. For the 2026 JFilm Festival design, W|W leveraged a modified cyanotype approach, which produces a signature deep blue aesthetic. Cyanotype is a 19th-century camera-less photographic printing process that produces monochromatic blueprints, invented in 1842 by Sir John Herschel. After treating paper with light-sensitive iron salts, placing transparent negatives on top, and exposing them to UV light (sunlight), these white-on-blue images appeared.
