Wall-to-Wall Studios Launches CFL Ad Campaign for Hawaii Energy

If you're waiting for your old fashioned energy-sucking light bulbs to burn out before replacing them with energy-efficient CFL bulbs, don't wait. CFLs are so efficient, you'll actually save more money by switching your old bulbs out NOW. (Even if they are not burned out.) Wall-to-Wall Studios developed an integrated advertising campaign (including print, radio, online and this series of TV commercials) for Hawaii Energy that promote the benefits of switching to energy-saving compact fluorescent lights (CFLs). Residents are encouraged to take the Three CFL Challenge and replace a minimum of three more old-fashioned incandescent light bulls with CFLs. The online campaign also includes an interactive online savings calculator to illustrate the actual savings in real time (and real dollars). Hawaii Energy is the state energy conservation and efficiency program implemented to help reduce Hawaii's dependence on foreign oil. Wall-to-Wall Studios collaborated with Director Brett Wagner on both commercials.

Undoubtedly the signature event within the advertising community, the Pittsburgh ADDY Awards celebrate the power of creativity and acknowledge the achievements in the past year. Wall-to-Wall Studios Selected by Hawaii Community Foundation to Brand Dalai Lama's Visit To Oahu

The Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) announced that it will sponsor two public talks in Honolulu featuring His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. The talks are part of the Dalai Lama's three-day stay on O'ahu (April 14-16, 2012), where he will participate in a series of conversations with local leaders and visits to important cultural and historical sites.

 

The Dalai Lama is visiting O'ahu at the invitation of Pierre and Pam Omidyar. Support is being provided by a lead grant from the Omidyar Ohana Fund in addition to other partners. The Dalai Lama's visit marks the launch of a new HCF initiative entitled "Pillars of Peace Hawai'i: Building Peace on a Foundation of Aloha." The program aims to bring global peace leaders to Hawai'i to exchange ideas about the many forms of peace that exist here at home in Hawaii, and around the world. 

 

"Peace is an active state of being-it is not passive," said Pierre Omidyar. "We hope that the Dalai Lama's visit will inspire people to consciously embrace compassion and apply peace in their everyday lives."

 

The HCF has chosen Wall-to-Wall Studios to develop the branding, website and integrated marketing campaign for the ongoing Hawaii Peace Initiative in addition to the Dalai Lama's event in April. Tickets for the events can be purchased online starting February 22nd at 6:00 p.m. HST. Additional ticket and event information is available at www.pillarsofpeacehawaii.org. For those unable to attend in person, both events will be available for playback after the events conclude on the Pillars of Peace Hawaii website.

Wall-to-Wall Studios continued its creative and integrated branding collaboration with JFilm: The Pittsburgh Jewish Film Forum, a program of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, via the design the promotional campaign (poster series, opening-night invitation, program cover and ads) for the 2012 JFilm Festival, taking place March 15 - April 1. Mobi PCS Debuts Super Bowl TV Commercial By Wall-to-Wall Studios

Mobi PCS provides unlimited cellular communications and wireless broadband service for their customers in Hawaii, with the best coverage amongst all carriers in the islands. Wall-to-Wall Studios designed and developed the website for dbMotion, a firm that has created an innovative connected healthcare solution that integrates patient information from disparate health information technologies—delivering it in a useable format to clinicians within familiar workflows. Originally developed by (and spun off from) the business intelligence solutions unit of Ness Technologies (NASDAQ:NSTC), the dbMotion interoperability platform semantically harmonizes and compresses volumes of health data across an enterprise and throughout a community without requiring that existing systems be replaced.The website is powered by the W|W CMS, a custom content management system and includes the News and Form Builder CMS modules.  dbMotion will be introducing the EHR Agent at HIMSS12 in Las Vegas.

Wall-to-Wall Studios Designs Ohio River Basin Signage Program

Wall-to-Wall Studios designed a signage program for the Ohio River Basin that includes a system for any mainstem river, tributary, creek, lake or watershed located within the basin. The signage project was commissioned by The River Alert Information Network (RAIN), working in collaboration with State Senator Jim Ferlo, the Riverside Center for Innovation, the Port of Pittsburgh and The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as a regional visual signage system of river awareness. The initial set of signs were installed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) at the Allegheny River Bridge in Oakmont, PA. For more information about the signage system, please contact Adrienne Buka.

Red Crown Productions Debuts "Goats" At Sundance Film Festival; Launches Website Designed By Wall-to-Wall Studios

Red Crown Productions, a New York-based development and production company founded by Daniel Crown and Daniela Taplin Lundberg that produces independent and studio-partnered high-end films, debuted Goats at the Sundance Film Festival.  Red Crown also launched the company's website, www.redcrownproductions.com, in concert with the film premiere at Sundance. The website was designed and developed by Wall-to-Wall Studios and includes the integrated branding firm's custom content management system (CMS).

 

Goats is directed by Christopher Neil, written by Mark Jude Poirier and stars David Duchovny, Vera Farmiga, Graham Phillips, Justin Kirk and Ty BurrellIn. Almost all of us are subjected to advertising, branding and marketing messages on a daily basis, whether we want it or not. Most say this type of messaging is annoying noise that clutters our lives, and much of it ends up being forgettable.

 

Consumers are able to tune out a “hard sell” message and ignore or skip it completely. However, making an emotional connection can often have the opposite effect: A consumer may choose to remember the brand or messaging, because it perhaps was unexpected, made them laugh, or even made them cry.

The urban forest master plan is a road map, providing detailed information, recommendations, and resources needed to effectively and proactively manage and grow Pittsburgh's urban forest. More importantly it describes a shared vision for the future of the urban forest to inspire and engage residents, business owners, elected officials and organizations in the care and protection of trees.
